Foreign trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2009

The National Bureau of Statistics presents data regarding the foreign trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2009.

Exports of goods in April 2009 registered a value of 92,8 mln. US dollars, which is 17,0% less than in the previous month and 31,4% less than in April 2008.

In January-April 2009 exports have summed up 372,6 mln. US dollars, with 21,9% less compared to the respective period in 2008.

Imports of goods in April 2009 registered a value of 241,5 mln. US dollars, which is 25,1% less than in the previous month and 46,1% less than in April 2008.

In January-April 2009 imports have summed up 1023,3 mln. US dollars, with 31,5% less compared to the respective period in 2008.
