International trade of goods of the Republic of Moldova  in July 2024 and January-July 2024

Exports of goods in July 2024 were amounted to 284,9 million USD, with 1.2% less than in June 2024 and 6.3% less than in July 2023. Exports of goods in January-July 2024, amounted to 2065,5 million USD, which is 12,0% less than in the corresponding period of 2023.

Exports of domestic goods in January-July 2024 amounted to 1560,4 million USD (75,5% of total exports), decreasing with 1,4% compared to the similar period in 2023, which influenced the decrease of the total value of exports with 1,0%.

Exports of goods to the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-July 2024 totaled 1345,7 million USD (7,9% less than in the corresponding period of 2023), accounting 65,1% of total exports, 2,8 percentage points more than in January-July 2023.

Exports of goods to CIS2 countries in January-July 2024 amounted to 160,7 million USD (15,0% less than the similar period in 2023), equivalent to a share of 7,8% in total exports, less with 0,2 percentage points compared to January-July 2023.

Imports of goods in July 2024 amounted to 788,4 million USD, 13,8% more compared to June 2024 and 23,3% more compared to July 2023.

Imports of goods in January-July 2024, totaled USD 5104,6 million, which is 1,9% more than in the corresponding period in 2023.

Imports of goods from the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-July 2024 amounted to 2517,6 million USD (with 2,7% more compared to the same period in 2023), accounting for 49,3% of total imports, more with 0,4 percentage points compared to January-July 2023.

Imports of goods from CIS2 countries in January-July 2024 amounted to 195,9 million USD (43,4% less than in the same period of 2023), equivalent to a share of 3,8% in total imports, less with 3,1 percentage points compared to January-July 2023.
