Labour Force in the Republic of Moldova: Employment and Unemployment in the fourth quarter of 2024

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the survey ,,Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the fourth quarter 2024" the labour force (active population aged 15 years and over) was 849,5 thousand persons, which is 7.6% less than in the fourth quarter of 2023, the employed population aged 15 and over was 816.7 thousand persons, 6.6% less than in the fourth quarter 2023.

the unemployment rate for the country as a whole amounted to 3.9%, decreasing by 1.0 percentage points, compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 (4.9%).
