Population outside the labor force in the Republic of Moldova in the second quarter of 2023

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter of 2023 the population outside the labour force aged 15 years and over was 1124,3 thousand persons, decreasing by 8,6% compared to second quarter 2022.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter of 2023:

  • the population outside the labour force aged 15 years and over was 1124,3 thousand persons, decreasing by 8,6% compared to second quarter 2022
  • the inactivity rate of the population aged 15 and over was 54,6%, decreasing by 3,1 p.p. compared to second quarter 2022.
