National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2022, insurance companies collected gross premiums charged in the amount of 2471,5 million lei, or 28,3% more than the one recorded in 2021.

At the same time, the total volume of compensations and insurance allowances paid in 2022 amounted to 958,8 million lei and increased by 46.4% compared to payments made in 2021.
