​National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, in the fourth quarter of 2025:

• the average gross monthly earnings amounted to 16355,1 lei, and increased by 8,9% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 and by 5,6% compared to the third quarter of 2025;

• the index of real earnings (calculated as the ratio between the index of gross nominal earnings and the consumer price index), compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, amounted to 101,8%, indicating a 1,8% real-term increase in earnings;

• the average number of employees, compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, increased by 1,5%.
