National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter of 2023:
- the labour underutilization rate was 8,6%, 2,8 p.p. more than in the corresponding quarter of 2022
- the ILO unemployment rate was 3,8%, 1,4 p.p. higher than in the second quarter of 2022
- the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 6,8%, up 2,0 p.p. from the second quarter of 2022
- the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 5,7%, higher than in the second quarter of 2022 (3,4%).
