Underutilization of the labor force in the second quarter of 2023

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter of 2023, the labour underutilization rate was 8,6%, 2,8 p.p. more than in the corresponding quarter of 2022.

the labour underutilization rate was 8,6%, 2,8 p.p. more than in the corresponding quarter of 2022
the ILO unemployment rate was 3,8%, 1,4 p.p. higher than in the second quarter of 2022
the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 6,8%, up 2,0 p.p. from the second quarter of 2022
the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 5,7%, higher than in the second quarter of 2022 (3,4%).
