Underutilization of the labor force in the third quarter of 2023

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey, in the third quarter of 2023 labour underutilisation rate was 9.2%, increasing by 4.2 percentage points than in the corresponding quarter of 2022.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the third quarter of 2023:

labour underutilisation rate was 9.2%, increasing by 4.2 percentage points than in the corresponding quarter of 2022;
the ILO unemployment rate was 4.1%, increasing by 1.6 percentage points than in the third quarter of 2022;
the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 7.3%, increasing by 2.7 percentage points from the third quarter of 2022;
the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 6.1%, increasing by 3.2 percentage points from the level of the third quarter of 2022.
