Foreign trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-March 2009

The National Bureau of Statistics presents data regarding the foreign trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-March 2009

Exports of commodities in March 2009 registered a value of 111,9 mln. US dollars, with 15,4% more in comparison to previous month and with 16,8% less compared to March 2008.

In January-March 2009 exports have summed up 280,0 mln. US dollars, with 18,2% less compared to the respective period in 2008.

Imports of commodities in March 2009 registered a value of 322,3 mln. US dollars, with 25,1% more in comparison to previous month and with 22,1% less compared to March 2008.

In January-March 2009 imports have summed up 782,0 mln. US dollars, with 25,2% less compared to the respective period in 2008.
