The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in January-March 2025, collective tourist accommodation structures were visited by 89.6 thousand tourists (6.4% more than in the same period of 2024 year), including 35.1 thousand resident tourists (39.2% of the total) and 54.5 thousand (60.8%) non-resident tourists.

Increases in tourist accommodation were recorded in hotels and motels (+7.5%), hostels for visitors (+11.6%), tourist and agrotourist pensions (+12.0%), and health care structures (+8.2%). At the same time, the number of tourists accommodated in recreation structures and children’s camps decreased by 6.6% and 34.5%, respectively.

A significant share of the total number of foreign tourists accommodated were citizens of: Ukraine (35.8% of the total), Romania (19.7%), the USA (6.0%), Turkey (3.7%), Italy (2.9%), Germany (2.8%), Israel (2.7%), Great Britain and Poland (2.3% each), the Russian Federation (1.9%).
