National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the ,,Labor Force Survey” (LFS), in the first of 2024, young people aged between 15-34 years were represented by the following categories of people: young people neither in employment nor in education and training (NEET), the proportion of which was 25,3%, of the total (-1.8 p.p. compared to the second quarter of 2023).

Exports of goods in July 2024 were amounted to 284,9 million USD, with 1.2% less than in June 2024 and 6.3% less than in July 2023. Exports of goods in January-July 2024, amounted to 2065,5 million USD, which is 12,0% less than in the corresponding period of 2023.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary estimations, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2024 increased - in real terms - by 2,4% compared to the second quarter of 2023 on gross series. Estimated GDP for the first semester of 2024, according to preliminary data, increased in real terms by 2,2% compared to the first semester of 2023.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter of 2024: the population outside the labour force aged 15 and over was 1099,3 thousand persons, decreasing by 2.2% compared to the second quarter of 2023; the inactivity rate of the population aged 15 and over was 55.0%, increasing by 0.4 percentage points compared to the second quarter of 2023.
