Domestic trade and services

Internal trade statistics include short-term indicators in trade and services. The observation unit is the entity as a VAT payer with the main activity of legally registered trade and services, regardless of the form of ownership and organizational - legal form. Statistical data on sales (deliveries) of goods and services are developed based on VAT returns collected by the State Fiscal Service from VAT payers. Sales (deliveries) of goods and services - represents the value of the deliveries of goods, services paid or to be paid (without VAT), including the amounts received as advance payment (in advance) for these deliveries. The use of data from VAT returns, as well as other sources of administrative data for statistical purposes, is one of the priorities of the NBS in order to produce new statistical indicators, with more detailed breakdowns, to optimize budget expenditures and to reduce the informational pressure on the business environment. The data are disseminated monthly and are provisional, with possible revision in the next month in case of rectifications from the entities.
