On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, celebrated annually on December 3, the National Bureau of Statistics presents information regarding the situation of persons with disabilities in 2023.
„The Energy Balance of the Republic of Moldova” is a large statistical collection, which presents the statistical indicators on the formation of primary and general resources of energy, distribution, and final energy consumption on the main activities of the national economy during the period 2018-2023.
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, in the third quarter of 2024: the average gross monthly earnings amounted to 14116,8 lei, and increased by 14,2% compared to the third quarter of 2023 and by 0,3% compared to the second quarter of 2024; the index of real earnings (calculated as the ratio of the index of gross nominal earnings and the consumer price index), compared to the third quarter of 2023, amounted to 108,7%, which means that earnings increased in real terms by 8,7%.
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2024, investments in long-term assets amounting to 21,3 billion lei, increasing by 2,6% (in comparable prices), compared to January-September 2023, of which: investments in tangible assets amouting to 20,5 billion lei (increasing by 2,0%), investments in intangible assets amouting to 0,8 billion lei (increasing by 21,7%)
The analytical report contains statistical information on the general characteristics of households with children according to the area of residence, number of children, type of household, quintiles, presence of migrants in households, their level of poverty and wellbeing.
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the period January-September 2024, compared to the same period of 2023, tourist reception structures with accommodation functions recorded increases in both the number of accommodated tourists and tourist overnight stays, by 23.6% and 9. 4%, respectively.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in October 2024 producer prices in industry: increased with 0,2% compared to September this year; decreased with 1,4% since the beginning of the current year; decreased with 1,2% compared to October 2023.
Exports of goods in September 2024 were amounted to 280,7 million USD, with 2,9% more than in August 2024 and 19,3% less than in September 2023. Exports of goods in January-September 2024, amounted to 2618,8 million USD, which is 13,2% less than in the corresponding period of 2023.
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-September 2024 the number of visitors, participants in tourism organized by tourism agencies and tour operators, constituted 451,3 thousand persons (with 10,3% more than in January-September 2023), of which: inbound tourism (receiving foreign citizens in the country) registered 51,1 thousand people (+53.8% compared to January-September 2023); outbound tourism (travel of residents of the Republic of Moldova abroad) - 335,6 thousand persons (+10,0%).

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, average consumer prices in October 2024 increased compared to: September 2024 by about 0,5%, December 2023 by about 5,5%, October 2023 (during the last 12 months) by 5,3%.

Sales indices of agricultural production prices
National Bureau of Statistics informs that agricultural producer prices (average sale prices by agricultural enterprises) for agricultural products in January-September 2024, compared to January-September 2023, increased with 1,2% as a result of: an increase in prices for crop products by an average of 2,3%, a decrease in prices for livestock products by an average of 2,4%.
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2024, 2373 building permits were issued, decreasing with 7.4% compared to January-September 2023, of which: 1641 building permits for residential buildings (-3.2%), 732 building permits for non-residential buildings (-15.6%).
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary data, in January-September 2024, compared to the corresponding period of 2023, the volume of gross agricultural production in agricultural producers of all categories decreased by 6,8% (in comparable prices) as a result of: decrease in crop production by 15,5%, increase in animal production by 10,9%.
