Short-term energy indicators aim to present indicators on fuel and energy stocks, inputs and consumption during a calendar month.
Monthly statistical reports are presented by economic entities producing, consuming and supplying energy and electricity resources.
Short-term indicators in energy are developed in natural units (tonnes, m3, kWh, Gcal, etc.).
The data are collected according to the Nomenclature of energy products recommended by the International Recommendations on Energy Statistics, UN, 2011.
Short-term indicators in energy are published monthly on the official website of the NBS via the statistical databank.
Annual energy statistics covers indicators related to the production, import, export, distribution, and final consumption of primary resources and transformations, to ensure the economic activities, as well as the household consumption during the reported year.
The energy balance of the Republic of Moldova is developed annually and represents a plenty work of NBS that is referring to the energy resources used on the territory of the country from all energy-producing sources.
The energy balance is developed in natural units (for energy products balance) and in conventional energy units (oil equivalent, coal equivalent, Joules).
Statistical data are published annually on the official website of the NBS via the statistical databank, the section Statistics by themes and publication “Energy balance of the Republic of Moldova.
