Culture and sport

Culture statistics is based on annual statistical research conducted by the NBS in collaboration with relevant institutions (Ministry of Education and Research, Ministry of Culture), on the activity of theater institutions, houses of culture, cinemas, museums / galleries and libraries, etc. Sports statistics are based on annual statistical surveys conducted by the Ministry of Education and Research (Sports Directorate), which contain data on the development of physical culture and sports, as well as on the activity of public sports institutions. Culture and sport statistics are intended for those who monitor and evaluate the situation in the field, at the decision-making level, as well as for other data users for information purposes. Annual data are published.
