Activity of small and medium enterprises in the Republic of Moldova in 2009

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2009 the number of small and medium sized enterprises (hereafter SMSe) was of 43,7 thousand enterprises, or with 2,6 thousand enterprises (with 6,3%) higher than in 2008. The sector of SMSe represents about 97,8% from the total number of enterprises.
