Attendance of collective tourist accommodation establishments in January-September 2019
National Bureau of Statistics informs that 300,0 thou. tourists attended collective tourist accommodation establishments in the period of January-September 2019, of which 169,7 thou. were resident tourists (56,6% of total) and 130,3 thou. - non-resident tourists (43,4%).
In comparison to January-September 2018, the number of tourists accommodated in the collective tourist increased (+3,5%) due to its growth in hotels and motels (+6,4%), tourist and agro touristic pensions (+3,2%) and recreation structures (+2,7%). At the same time, the number of tourists accommodated in hostels for visitors (-7,2%) and in health-care structures (-3,2%) has increased.
