National Bureau of Statistics presents the statistical data regarding  the average life expectancy in the Republic of Moldova in 2022, measured by the life expectancy at birth of the population with usual residence.

The average life expectancy in the Republic of Moldova in 2022 was of 71,4 years, increasing by 2,4 years compared to the previous year and by 1,5 years compared to 2020. Life expectancy at birth by sex in 2022 was 67,1 years for men and 75,7 years for women (increasing by 2,0 years for men and 2,8 years for women, respectively, compared to the previous year).
