The National Bureau of Statistics informs that the average gross monthly nominal earnings at the units in the real sector with 4 and more employees as well all budgetary institutions amounted to 9044,5 lei in the second quarter of 2021, increasing by 15,2% compared to the second quarter of 2020 and with 6,84% compared to the first quarter 2021.

The real earnings index in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the second quarter of 2020 (calculated as the ratio between the gross earnings index and the consumer price index) was 111,8%.
