National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2023 the volume of construction works decreased compared to the same period of 2022 with 8,0% (in comparable prices), as a result of the decrease of the volume of new construction works (-13,3%) and of the volume of maintenance and current repairs works (-22,6%).The volume of capital repairs works and the volume of other construction works (demolitions, land improvement before construction, etc.) increased in the analyzed period with 26,2% and 1,1% respectively compared to January-June 2022.
