Foreign trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2009

The National Bureau of Statistics presents data regarding the foreign trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2009

Exports of commodities in February 2009 registered a value of 97,0 mln. US dollars, with 36,3% more in comparison to previous month and with 19,8% less compared to February 2008.

In January-February 2009 exports have summed up 168,1 mln. US dollars, with 19,1% less compared to the respective period in 2008.

Imports of commodities in February 2009 registered a value of 257,7 mln. US dollars, with 27,6% more in comparison to previous month and with 30,5% less compared to February 2008.

In January-February 2009 imports have summed up 459,7 mln. US dollars, with 27,3% less compared to the respective period in 2008.
