Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in 2013

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in December 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1337,9 thou. tonnes of goods, with 14,5% less than in the previous month and with 65,9% more compared to December 2012. The turnover of goods in December 2013 summed up 448,9 mio. tonne-km, with 6,1% more than in the previous month and with 31,6% more compared to December 2012.

In January-December 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, transported 13779,4 thou. tonnes of goods, with 26,2%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 4414,1 mio. tonne-km, with 14,7% more than in the January-December 2012.
