Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2017
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in April 2017 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1,2 mio. tonne of goods, with 1,3% less than in the previous month and with 15,8% more compared to April 2016. The turnover of goods in April 2017 summed up 346,7 mio. tonne-km, with 10,6% less than in the previous month and with 5,4% more compared to April 2016.
In January-April 2017 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 3,8 mio. tonnes of goods, with 15,6% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1288,4 mio. tonne-km, with 16,3% more than in the January-April 2016.
