Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2017
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in February 2017 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 709,9 thou. tonnes of goods, with 7,3% more than in the previous month and with 1,1% less compared to February 2016. The turnover of goods in February 2017 summed up 300,4 mio. tonne-km, with 22,7% more than in the previous month and with 13,4% - compared to February 2016.
In January-February 2017 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1,4 mio. tonnes of goods, with 13,4% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 545,2 mio. tonne-km, with 21,3% more than in the January-February 2016.
