Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2019
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in February 2019 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1,2 mio. tonnes of goods, with 46,2% more than in the previous month and with 11,5% - compared to February 2018. The turnover of goods in February 2019 summed up 403,5 mio. tonne-km, with 33,0% more than in January 2019 and with 14,6% - compared to February 2018.
In January-February 2019 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2,0 mio. tonnes of goods, with 4,5% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 706,9 mio. tonne-km, with 9,0% more than in the corresponding period 2018.
