Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2011

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in June 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 738,4 thou. tonnes of goods, which is with 10,7% more than in the previous month and with 9,7% more than in June 2010. The turnover of goods in June 2011 summed up 290,2 mio tonne-km, with 9,7% more than in the previous month and with 6,2% more than in June 2010.

In January-June 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 4039,8 thou. tonnes of goods, with 26,6%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1634,0 mio tonne-km, with 21,4% more than in the January-June 2010.
