Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in June 2018 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1,6 mio. tonnes of goods, with 0,1% more than in the previous month and with 18,9% - compared to June 2017. The turnover of goods in June 2018 summed up 392,8 mio. tonne-km, with 1,4% less than in May 2018 and with 12,4% more compared to June 2017.
In January-June 2018 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 7,7 mio. tonnes of goods, with 14,9% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 2157,3 mio. tonne-km, with 6,8% more than in the January-June 2017.
