Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-October 2018
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in October 2018 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2,3 mio. tonnes of goods, with 14,5% more than in the previous month and with 7,5% - compared to October 2017. The turnover of goods in October 2018 summed up 465,5 mio. tonne-km, with 2,2% more than in September 2018 and remained at the same level compared to October 2017.
In January-October 2018 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 15,8 mio. tonnes of goods, with 9,9% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 3938,5 mio. tonne-km, with 4,4% more than in the corresponding period 2017.
