Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-Octomber 2017
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in Octomber enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2,1 mio. tonnes of goods, with 0,9% less than in the previous month and with 33,5% more compared to Octomber 2016. The turnover of goods in Octomber 2017 summed up 458,5 mio. tonne-km, with 0,8% less than in September 2017 and with 12,8% more compared to Octomber 2016.
In January-Octomber 2017 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 14,0 mio. tonnes of goods, with 23,2% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 3715,2 mio. tonne-km, with 14,3% more than in the January-Octomber 2016.
