National Bureau of Statistics informs that the number of registered deaths in 2023, according to provisional data, was 33,7 thousand, decreasing with 2,5 thousand (or 6,8%) compared to 2022.
In 2023³, the rate of general mortality was 13.7‰, a decrease of 0.6 deaths per thousand persons compared to 2022.
