en-sdg-goal-17.png.pngGoal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development

All of the abovementioned challenges are at the same time important means for, and pre-conditions of, implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Thus, Goal 17 aims to strengthen resource mobilization to improve domestic capacity for tax and other revenue collection, and to encourage and promote effective public, public–private and civil society partnerships. By building on existing initiatives and supporting statistical capacity-building, measurements of progress on sustainable development will be developed and the availability of high quality, timely and reliable disaggregated data will be significantly increased.
