Labour Force in the Republic of Moldova: Employment and Unemployment in the third quarter 2023

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the survey ,,Labour Force Survey, in the third quarter 2023", the labour force (active population aged 15 years and over) was 947.1 thousand persons, which is 5.0% more than in the third quarter of 2022.

the labour force (active population aged 15 years and over) was 947.1 thousand persons, which is 5.0% more than in the third quarter of 2022;
the employed population aged 15 and over was 907.9 thousand persons, up by 3.2% compared to the third quarter of 2022;
the unemployment rate for the country as a whole was 4.1%, increasing by 1.6 percentage points compared to the level of the third quarter of 2022 (2.5%).
