The National Bureau of Statistics communicates data on the activity of early education institutions in 2021.

The number of 1483 of active early education institutions, including 811 - nursery schools, 566 kindergartens, 88 school-kindergartens, 16 community centers and 2 nurseries was registered in the country by the end of 2021 year.

By destination, 3 types of institutions were distinguished: 1472 - with general destination, 4 - sanatorials and 7 - with special destinations.
