National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, in the second quarter of 2025:

• the average gross monthly earnings amounted to 15470,6 lei, and increased by 10,0% compared to the second quarter of 2024 and by 6,2% compared to the first quarter of 2024;

• the index of real earnings (calculated as the ratio between the index of gross nominal earnings and the consumer price index), compared to the second quarter of 2024, amounted to 101,9%, which means that earnings increased in real terms by 1,9%;

• the average number of employees, compared to the second quarter of 2024, increased by 0,8%.
