The dwelling stock in the Republic of Moldova on 1 January 2018
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that on 1 January 2018, the dwelling stock in the Republic of Moldova constituted 1287,3 thousand dwellings with a total area of 87265,2 thousand m2.
By residential area, 539,0 thousand dwellings with a total area of 38302,8 thousand m2 were registered in urban localities, which represents 41,9% of the total registered dwelling stock. Rural settlements have 748,3 thousand dwellings with a total area of 48962,4 thousand m2 or 58,1% of the total.
