The dwelling stock of the Republic of Moldova on January 1, 2020
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that on January 1, 2020 the dwelling stock of the Republic of Moldova constituted 1302,1 thousand dwellings with the total area of 88534,3 thousand m2.
By areas of residence, 553,4 thousand dwellings with the total area of 39391,6 thousand m2 were registered in urban localities, which represents 42,5% of the total registered dwelling stock. In the rural localities were registered 748,7 thousand dwellings with the total area of 49142,7 thousand m2 or 57,5% of the total.
