National Bureau of Statistics informs that the statistical publication "Education in the Republic of Moldova" edition 2026 has been posted on the website in electronic format.

The publication presents statistical information based on statistical surveys carried out by the National Bureau of Statistics in the field of formal education.

The publication provides statistical information, in particular the evolution of the number of educational institutions, pedagogical staff, pupils and students; disaggregation by educational level, age, sex, form of studies, and, in the case of vocational and higher education, by general fields of study also.

The publication is structured into 7 chapters containing tables and graphics that present the distribution of children/pupils and students by levels of education MoldCED 2.
