The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2022 the number of tourists and excursionists participating in tourism organized by travel agencies and tour operators registered 477,2 thousand persons or with 48,7% more than in 2021.

The increase in the number of tourists and excursionists in the surveyed period is caused by the increase in the number of participants in outbound tourism by 106,9 thousand persons (+49,1%), domestic tourism - by 44,4 thousand persons (+56,0%) and inbound tourism - by 5,0 thousand persons (+20,8%).
