Underutilization of the labor force in the third quarter of 2024

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the third quarter of 2024 labour underutilization rate was 7,7%, increasing by 1,5 percentage points compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023 (9,2%), the ILO unemployment rate was 3,6%, increasing by 0,5 percentage points than in the third quarter of 2023.

the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 5,7%, decreasing by 0,4 percentage points compared to the third quarter of 2023(6,1%);
the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 6,0%, increasing by 1.8 percentage points compared to third quarter of 2023.
