The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2024, in early childhood education institutions:
1469 institutions were active, of which 350 units operated in urban areas and 1119 units in rural areas;
the number of enrolled children was 127.2 thousand people, of which 126.1 thousand children (or 99.1%) were in publicly owned institutions and 1.1 thousand children (or 0.9%) in private institutions;
per 100 places in early childhood education institutions there were an average of 72 children;
the number of management and teaching staff was 12.5 thousand people.
