National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in December 2022 industrial production (gross series) decreased compared to the corresponding month of the previous year with 13,9%. The decrease in production in December 2022 compared to December 2021 was determined by decreases in the extractive industry (-19,5%), in the manufacturing industry (-15,4%) and in the production and supply of electricity and heat, gas, hot water and air conditioning (-7,2%), generating the decreases of production on total industry with 0,3%, 12,2% and respectively 1,4%.

In 2022 compared to the previous year, industrial production (gross series) decreased by 5,1%. The decrease in production in 2022 compared to the previous year was generated by decreases in production in the extractive industry (-4,9%), in the manufacturing industry (-4,5%) and in the production and supply of electricity and heat, gas, hot water and air conditioning (-8,4%).
