National Bureau of Statistics informs that 246,4 million passengers were transported by public transport in 2022, an increase with 25,1% compared to the previous year.

Passenger traffic in the reporting period was up 36,3% compared to 2021 and amounted to 5312,3 million passenger-km.

In 2022 the railway, road, river and air transport enterprises transported 20,9 million tonnes of goods, volume higher than in 2021 with 5,9%.

The turnover of goods in 2022 amounted to 6071,8 million tonne-km, an increase with 14,1% compared to 2021.
