Time use by older persons in the Republic of Moldova
The population of Republic of Moldova aged 60 years and over more than half of the daily time (51.7%) uses for personal care activities (12.4 hours); 30.4% from one day (7.3 hours) – devotes to working activities for an income (as wage / profit), household and family care, volunteer work and travel / trips and 17.9% - spending leisure time (4.3 hours). Differences between time use of women and men for two of the three groups of human activities are insignificant.
