International trade of goods of the Republic of Moldova in October 2024 and January-October 20241
Exports of goods in October 2024 were amounted to 330,9 million USD, with 17,9% more than in September 2024 and 3,2% less than in October 2023.
Exports of goods in January-October 2024, amounted to 2949,7 million USD, which is 12,2% less than in the corresponding period of 2023.
Exports of domestic goods in January-October 2024 amounted to 2242,8 million USD (76,0% of total exports), decreasing with 4,0% compared to the similar period in 2023, which influenced the decrease of the total value of exports with 2,8%.
Reexports of foreign goods in January-October 2024 amounted to 706,9 million USD (24,0% of total exports), or 30,8% less than in the same period in 2023, which influenced the decrease of the total value of exports with 9,4%.
Exports of goods to the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-October 2024 totaled 1980,3 million USD (8,9% less than in the corresponding period of 2023), accounting 67,1% of total exports, 2,4 percentage points more than in January-October 2023.
Exports of goods to CIS2 countries in January-October 2024 amounted to 209,6 million USD (16,6% less than the similar period in 2023), equivalent to a share of 7,1% in total exports, less with 0,4 percentage points compared to January-October 2023.
Imports of goods in October 2024 amounted to 792,0 million USD, 2,4% more compared to September 2024 and 10,9% more compared to October 2023.
Imports of goods in January-October 2024, totaled USD 7406,0 million, which is 3,9% more than in the corresponding period in 2023.
Imports of goods from the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-October 2024 amounted to 3672,2 million USD (with 6,1% more compared to the same period in 2023), accounting for 49,6% of total imports, more with 1,1 percentage points compared to January-October 2023.
Imports of goods from CIS2 countries in January-October 2024 amounted to 288,2 million USD (36,8% less than in the same period of 2023), equivalent to a share of 3,9% in total imports, less with 2,5 percentage points compared to January-October 2023.
