International trade of goods of the Republic of Moldova in September 2024 and January-September 20241

Exports of goods in September 2024 were amounted to 280,7 million USD, with 2,9% more than in August 2024 and 19,3% less than in September 2023.

Exports of goods in January-September 2024, amounted to 2618,8 million USD, which is 13,2% less than in the corresponding period of 2023.

Exports of domestic goods in January-September 2024 amounted to 1981,0 million USD (75,6% of total exports), decreasing with 4,3% compared to the similar period in 2023, which influenced the decrease of the total value of exports with 2,9%.

Reexports of foreign goods in January-September 2024 amounted to 637,8 million USD (24,4% of total exports), or 32,6% less than in the same period in 2023.

Exports of goods to the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-September 2024 totaled 1745,5 million USD (9,4% less than in the corresponding period of 2023), accounting 66,6% of total exports, 2,7 percentage points more than in January-September 2023.

Exports of goods to CIS2 countries in January-September 2024 amounted to 193,3 million USD (15,7% less than the similar period in 2023), equivalent to a share of 7,4% in total exports, less with 0,2 percentage points compared to January-September 2023.

Imports of goods in September 2024 amounted to 773,4 million USD, 5,1% more compared to August 2024 and 10,0% more compared to September 2023.

Imports of goods in January-September 2024, totaled USD 6614,0 million, which is 3,1% more than in the corresponding period in 2023.

Imports of goods from the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-September 2024 amounted to 3265,5 million USD (with 5,0% more compared to the same period in 2023), accounting for 49,4% of total imports, more with 0,9 percentage points compared to January-September 2023.

Imports of goods from CIS2 countries in January-September 2024 amounted to 259,2 million USD (38,7% less than in the same period of 2023), equivalent to a share of 3,9% in total imports, less with 2,7 percentage points compared to January-September 2023.
