The National Bureau of Statistics reports that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS) in 2025:

• the labour force (active population aged 15 years and over) amounted to 805.0 thousand persons;

• the employed population aged 15 and over amounted to 774.0 thousand persons;

• the employmentrate was 40.2%;

• the unemployment rate for the country as a whole amounted to 3.8%.

The share of men in the labour force was 51.2%, higher than that of women (48.8%). The share of economically active persons in urban areas was 54.3%, exceeding that in rural areas (45.7%).
