The National Bureau of Statistics has published the infographic set „Children of Moldova in 2024".
 
The infographics present a synthesis of the main statistical indicators in the fields of demography, education, family, juvenile crime, social protection, health, culture and sport.
 
The statistical data are presented for the year 2024, compared with the years 2022 and 2023, thus providing an evolution of the situation of children in the Republic of Moldova during this period.
 

The set of infographics included 5 maps on:

  • Live-births per 1000 inhabitants,
  • Number of pupils per teacher in general primary and secondary education (day),
  • General disease incidence rate among children (0-17 years old),
  • General disease prevalence rate among children (0-17 years old),
  • Minors (0-17) who committed crimes (per  100 000 population aged 0-17 years).
The infographic set was developed within the partnership between the National Bureau of Statistics and UNICEF.
