National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2012 220,7 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 154,7 thou. Moldovan tourists (70,1%) and 66,0 thou. foreign tourists (29,9%). In comparison with January-September 2011 the number of tourists has increased with 8,8%, mainly due to the increase of the number of tourists and recreation camps, holiday villages and other recreation structures (+54,6%), hotels and motels (+18,2%), health-care structures (+10,4%), tourist and agrotourist pensions (+6,2%).
