National Bureau of Statistics presents data on remuneration of employees in the Republic of Moldova. In January-December 2008, according to preliminary data, the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2529 MDL and it increased compared to the same period of the previous year with 23%. The real salary in the same period of time increased with about 9%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 1959 MDL and it increased against the same period of previous year with 21 %, in the real economy sector - 2825 MDL and it increased with 23 per cent compared to the same period of previous year.
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the period January-November 2008 the average monthly salary of one worker in the national economy was 2489,5 lei, registering an increase compared to the same period of the previous year with 24%. The real salary in the same time period has increased by 9%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 1939,1 lei and has increased to the same period of the previous year with 21%, in the real sector of the economy – 2775,3 lei and has increased with 25% to the same period of the previous year.

The real salary in the same time period has increased by 9%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 1917, 1 lei and has increased to the same period of the previous year by 21%, in the real sector of the economy –2764,3 lei and has increased by 25 percents to the same period of the previous year.
