Social protection statistics covers the main social insurance and social assistance benefits such as: pensions, state social allowances, monthly state allowances, indemnities for families with children as well as important social-demographic characteristics, such as: age, sex, area of residence, rayon/district, disability degree, status of insurance, economic sector etc. Indicators refer to the number of beneficiaries and the monthly or unique average size of the benefit based mainly on the administrative data on pensions and social benefits granted to the population by the National Insurance House.
